I was listening to NPR near Valetine's Day and heard about 6 word memoirs. The most famous one was by Hemingway who boasted he could tell a story in 6 words. His was, "For sale: Baby shoes, never worn."
The NPR program had solicited 6 word memoirs about love, and included both elation and heartbreak in the submissions they read.
I got to thinking that the writers on this board might have some 6 word memoirs that might be especially poignant---and since writing often lowers stress for me, I'm making the suggestion here. Would you like to try your hand at a 6 word memoir? Don't limit yourself to just one, but come again and write more when you feel inspired.
